        China is the only chess country in the world with 6 GM’s with 2700+ rating: # 15 Ding, Liren (2754), #24 Wang, Hao (2730), #29 Bu, Xiangzhi (2722) #36 Wang, Yue (2713), #39 Li, Chao (2711) and # 47 Yu, Yangyi (2700)

        Russia has more, 10 players above 2700
        elo.

        Nakamura gave back the ELO points he earned from playing Navarra. He’s back to #7 from #5. As the saying goes, easy come, easy goes. His playing skills diminished when he played those low level players. Look at what’s happening right now. He can’t even compete with these stronger player.
