      5th Qualification Tournament of the World Online Amateur Championship

      The 5th Qualification Tournament of the 1st FIDE World Online Amateur Blitz Championship 2015 was held on 18th June on the official FIDE Online platform.

      An impressive number of 142 participants from 43 countries competed in the 11-round Swiss event. The top represented countries are Italy, India, Poland, Greece, Russia, England, USA.

      Top eight finishers from the event qualified for the semifinal tournament.

      1. AIM Job Atabor 1801 NGA – 10,0
      2. AGM Datuali Sinsuat 2160 PHI – 9,5
      3. Aditya MY 1805 IND – 9,0
      4. Juan Carlos Rueda-Kjeldsen 1898 NOR – 8,5
      5-8. Andrea Cricca 1728 ITA, Alexandros Dimitriadis 1951 GRE, Waleed Ibrahim 1992 EGY, Marco Barbero 1915 ITA – 8,0 etc

      The Championship consists of 8 qualifier tournaments, a semifinal and a final tournament. A total prize fund of 4250 US Dollars is to be distributed among the winner, with the top prize being 1200 USD.

      The 6th Qualification Tournament is set to take place on Thursday, 25th June, at 13:00 GMT/UTC time. The registration is already open on the official FIDE Online platform.

      The competition will take place on the official FIDE Arena Online platform. FIDE Online uses AceGuard, anti-cheating and security software of new generation. Based on advanced behavioral analysis and the activities of the players, AceGuard indicates deviations from proper procedures of play.
