      7th Salzkammergut International Open Tournament in Austria

      Austria, Chess tournament

      The 7th Salzkammergut International Open Tournament will take place on 17th-20th May at the Trinkhalle in Bad Ischl, Austria.

      The event will be divided in three rating groups:

      Group A – Open for all players with an Elo rating ˃ 1850. This group will be FIDE rated.
      Group B – Elo rating ˂ 1900
      Group C – Elo rating ˂ 1650. Both the B and C groups will only be valid for the national rating.

      All the tournaments will be 5-rounds Swiss opens with a time control of 90 min/40 moves + 30 min + 30 sec/move.

      The total prize fund amounts to 2.400 Euros.
