National Championships taking place in Argentina

      Argentina, National Championship

The 87° Campeonato Argentino Absoluto de Ajedrez 2012 and the  65° Campeonato Argentino Femenino de Ajedrez 2012 are taking place on 3-14 April at the Círculo de Ajedrez de Villa Martelli, Laprida 3837, Villa Martelli, Vte. López, Bs.As.

Both competitions belong to 2012, as the previous President of FADA, Nicolas Barrera, did not manage to complete these events during his mandate. The new leader Mario Petrucci decided to complete the unfinished business in order to normalize the chess scene in Argentina.
