      GM Ivan Ivanisevic wins Cacak Rapid

      Ivan Ivanisevic, Rapid chess

      The city of Cacak and chess club Borac have organized the Gran Prix Rapid Cacak 2012 on 16th December in restaurant Radovanje in Preljina.

      108 players took part in the 9-round Swiss tournament with the rapid time control of 15 minutes per player.

      Reigning Serbian champion GM Ivan Ivanisevic emerged winner after topping the standings with 7,5 points, half a point ahead of the group of six players. Ivanisevic earned 180 EUR from the prize pool of 1000 EUR.
