Adjustments in the 2012 Susan Polgar Open for Boys and Girls

There are four adjustments of which we would like for you to be aware, and those are:
1) Change in Site Location of the Bughouse Championship;
2) Directions to Hotel due to Construction;
3) Change in customized T-shirts; and
4) Addition of “Family & Friends” Tournament on Sunday, June 3, at 12:30 p.m. (Entry fee: $5) – sign up on site.
Change in Site Location of Bughouse Tournament
The Bughouse Tournament which will take place on Friday, June 1, 2012, will be held at the site hotel of the main tournament:
Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A CHANGE FROM THE PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED LOCATION OF THE AUDUBON INSECTARIUM OF NEW ORLEANS!
Directions to the hotel during Streetcar construction
From West:
Take I-10 West to the Poydras Street / Superdome exit
Continue on Poydras Street then turn left onto LaSalle
Turn right onto Perdido
Turn left onto Loyola and the hotel will be on your right
From East:
Take I-10 East to the Canal Street / Superdome exit
Turn right onto Canal Street
Continue on Canal Street then turn right onto S. Rampart Street
Continue on S. Rampart Street for approximately 2 blocks then turn right into the rear entrance of the hotel
IN ADDITION, the T-shirt vendor will not be available on site to do customized T-shirts, but there will be T-shirts there for sale with the tournament logo on them. However, since the T-shirt vendor will not be on site, names of individual players, unfortunately, will not be printed on the shirts.
