The closing ceremony of the World Chess Championship Match will take place on 31 May
The closing ceremony of the FIDE World Chess Championship Match will start at 4.00 pm at the Engineering Building of the State Tretyakov Gallery. The award ceremony of the FIDE World Chess Championship will be held as part of the closing ceremony.
The final press conference will be attended by Viswanathan Anand (India), Boris Gelfand (Israel), President of the World Chess Federation (FIDE) Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Russian Chess Federation Ilya Levitov, General Director of the State Tretyakov Gallery Irina Lebedeva and match sponsor Andrey Filatov and will follow the end of the closing ceremony.
