hope liem play quality chess and not get into pressured positions. simply no excuse for 2700 player being pressured by 2300-2500 players game after game lasting through 2 tournaments.

Its NOT being pressured as you claim as the reason why GM Le lose on his matches, he just simply having successive bad tournsments just like what happen to Carlsen where he underperforms n the Chess Olympiad and the Sinquefield Cup. Ditto as to Caruana who was almost invincible in Sinquefield Cup & perform extremely well in the 1st Stage of Grand Prix but is having some bad & sub-par performance & off nights at the 2nd Stage of Grandprix. MVL too was having rough time in Pokerstar International but somehow performing extremely good in the 2nd Stage of Grandprix. For petes sake, GM Le is a former FIDE World Blitz Champion, he is not being pressured by low rated players. GM Le is merely out of focus, over fatigue & got bored playing chess for long time. He has been a 2700 plus player for long time at some point in his career, they are bound to lose focus, get bored & simply does not care about chess. In short, GM Le is out of chess mode so to speak & its a cycle. It would now depend on him if how fast can he refocus, recommit & show interest in chess again & recover. 2014 is just a low point in GM Le chess career & perhaps Susan Polgar can have some encouragement talk to him.

thx for your comment. but carlsen caruana mvl lost to strong gms. liem under pressure in several games to 2300-2500 players. i dont see any excuse but his weak chess understanding and thinking, at least in some types of positions.
