The final game in regulation of the semifinal ended without decisive a result. Both Grischuk and Kramnik missed opportunities to earn a spot in the final. The Gelfand – Kamsky game was less eventful. All four players will head to the rapid / blitz playoff tomorrow.

Rapid Playoff: Sorta like the “Lightening Round” in the old Password TV game.
Boring.
The Kamsky-Gelfand game yesterday was a classic. Almost like game 24 of Kasparov-Karpov 1985
The Kramnik-Grischuk game was good today, yes it was a draw, but both players had chances to win, especially Kramnik who blew it! Some people don’t think that four games is enough, but I think FIDE got this right. I think if it was eight games, it would also be mostly draws. I think rapid and blitz is a good way to cut to the chase! This should suit Grischuk I think.
I strongly believe it is a huge mistake to call the last game “sudden death”. It is Armageddon. Please comment on this use of terminology. Where is the sudden, and where is the death? In soccer, maybe, but chess?? Don’t let FIDE have you learning all that is wrong.
Why did Kasparov resign with all these Gelfands, Kramniks and Kamskys still ruling?
He could still dominate them instead of fighting Putin…
