Zatonskih should be in bold face because she’s my favorite.

It seems rather obvious that the bottom half is much stronger than the upper one.

I may have miscalculated but it looks like the the average rating for the top half of the draw is 2486 and for the bottom half of the draw it’s 2516. That’s a pretty big gap for an average, and if the favorites win, the gap will increase significantly.

Female Chinese players will rule the Chess World …as Russia collapsed !
The only alternative should be India.
I won’t bet a penny on Zatonskih !Fernando

With the curiosity of a child
        I let my imagination wander
the 64 squares is always fraught with surprises and pitfalls
        the clock of life ticking
a constant reminder of the signs of the times
        I’m probably past my prime

Still, I was like a pawn on a solo journey
even as the earthly Telugu princess pursues her tiara in Turkey
perhaps, my bravado would earn me a promotion (if I make it)
Oh! Let me be a dark knight on a mission
the heart palpitates with racing thoughts
        just my illusions…

        For the rest…

Why isn’t GM Kosteniuk in bold?

Are you a stupid troll? Susan clearly stated at the top bold/italic = top 10 seeds by ratings. Kosteniuk isn’t in the top 10 by rating. Idiot!

I’m now cheering for IM Yelena Dembo because I once lost to her online :)… it would be nice to say that I’ve played against a world champion. Also because she knocked off my pick in the last round…
