Russian veteran Alisa Galliamov has just captured another Russian Women’s Championship. Pogonina and T. Kosintseva tied for 1st but finished 2nd and 3rd respectively after tiebreaks / rapid playoff.

The Snowdrops women’s team defeated the Oldhands men’s team by the score of 18-14 in the Czech Republic.

After 5 rounds, Garcia Palermo is leading the Italian Championship. Fabiano is one point behind but there is still plenty of time to catch up.

China dominated the Asian Games by winning Gold in both the Men’s and Women’s Team event.

Has anyone on here looked at the Warzone series on chesscube? This is proving to be very popular and exciting! Could this be another direction for chess, a kinda ESports meets chess? Damn, even I can’t stop playing on it!

        Hello Susan

Here is a Norwegian Home-Video with action, excitement & romantic. In fact it is all about their national sport.”Ski-Jumping” is a word that we often misunderstand (like in this movie) using the Scandinavian languages.

Please ask someone who is as Norsk as a Torsk (like Magnus Carlsen) to translate my speakertext & the Swedish text in this very short film for You.

I like to add that this homevideo can be played by both left and right-handed persons, and therefore can be enjoyed on both sides of our long border to Norway.

What will Magnus do now that he is no longer in the candidates cycle?

        Will he get married?

        Will he go to school?

Will he grow a cazy beard and move to Iceland?

        Chess Fans want to know!
