      Levon Aronian is 3rd chess player in the world

      Levon Aronian overpassed Veselin Topalov with his FIDE rating after the brilliant performance he had in the 39th World Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk. Armenian grandmaster is currently the third among the strongest chess players of the world with 2793,8 rating.

      Magnus Carlsen leads with 2810,7. Viswanathan Anand is second with 2800,0. Veselin Topalov has 2785,5, Vladimir Kramnik – 2779,6, according to the Armenian chess federation.

      By the way, October 6th is Levon’s birthday. Our warmest greetings to him!
