      Nepal Chess Association is pleased to invite to the Himalayan Grand Masters Chess Tournament 2010, which is to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal for the first time in the chess history of Nepal.

      Venue Hotel Mountain, Kantipath, Kathmandu
      Organized by The Himalayan Chess Club, Lalitpur
      Recognized by FIDE, Asian Chess Federation, Nepal Chess Association
      System 9 round Swiss-League System, Swiss Manager
      Software will be used for pairings
      Time Control Fischer (90 minutes+30 seconds increment from the start of move one)
      Number of participants Maximum 40 only (all FIDE rated)
      Entry Fee NRs. 5.000 for Nepalese, NRs. 10.000 for foreigners
      Accommodation & Food Free for all Foreign GM, WGM, IM, WIM, FM, WFM and 2350+rated players
      Free accommodation only for rated players 2200+
      Appearance Money All GM 300$, All IM 100$
      Passage Passage up to Kathmandu, Nepal would have to be borne by players own Federation


      Total Prize Money $3500
