      Greek Youth Chess Championship 2010
      279 boys and 114 girls participating

      The Greek Youth Chess Championship 2010 is taking place in Kallithea, Halkidiki from 26th of June to 2nd of July. It is organized by the Greek Chess Federation and S.A.TH. Galaxias chess club.

      The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves and 30 minutes to the end of the game and 30 seconds addition per move. Tiebreak is decided by direct result, the sum of progressive scores, and Bucholz.

      The venue of the event if Athos Palace, which is traditional host of chess events, including the European Club Cup in 2008.
