      Team Topalov invites Robert Mundell to dinner

      Robert Mundell to hold press conference tomorrow

      The Bulgarian grandmaster Veselin Topalov and his manager Silvio Danailov dined with the Nobel Laureate in Economics Professor Robert Mundell. In the elegant atmosphere of the Grand Hotel Sofia’s restaurant “Shades of red” they talked about different topics, such as the match for the World Chess Championship, the economic situation of Bulgaria and the global economic crisis.

      Tomorrow, 30 April 2010 (Friday) at 13.00 h „The father of the Euro” professor Robert Mundell will meet with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Mr. Boyko Borisov. As we already informed you professor Mundell arrived today in Bulgaria at the personal invitation of Mr. Silvio Danailov, vice president of the Bulgarian Chess Federation and manager of the grandmaster Veselin Topalov.

      Mr. Robert Mundell will make the first symbolic move of the Game 5 of the match for the World Chess Championship between the World Chess Champion Viswanathan Anand and Veselin Topalov.

      At 15.30 h prof. Mundell will give a press conference for the journalists at the press office of the match in the building of the Central Military Club.

        Topalov can do away with all these niceties during the crucial championship match.

        Danailov is not helping Topalov by dragging him in all these off-board activities which has potential to distract and affect Topalov’s preparations.

        But may be that is Topalov’s style, who am I to comment!!!

        Maybe the father of the Euro can give Topalov some sound advice.

        You are like 99% of the people in FIDE who do not know the true nature of the leadership. They are corrupt, self-serving, and quite frankly, evil.

        No wonder the USCF has corrupt chess politicians because the average voter “doesn’t understand” why people have a negative feeling toward serial litigants, chess gadflys, and child molesters.
