      Diamant and Cuenta lead XXXVII Torneo Internacional de Ajedrez

      Andre Diamant, Brazil


      GM Andre Diamant (former Brazian Champion, already applied and in the process of attending Texas Tech in the near future) and IM Cuenta are leading XXXVII Torneo Internacional de Ajedrez after 8 rounds ahead of top seeds GMs Granda (2643), Bruzon (2641), Burmakin (2604), etc.

      Granda started out with perfect 6-0 but lost to Diamant in round 7. Diamant is performing at 2743 after 8 rounds. Here are the current leaders:
