Huh? What kind of a headline is that? Is anyone editing? Pacemaker? Care to explain?

        Great News! Great Win!

Ben will you do a victory dance when you get the GM title like Alex Lenderman?

        http://video.google.com/videosearch?hl=en&source=hp&q=alex%20lenderman&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wv#

Hence the need for a new pacemaker?

I will indeed dance, and, Zeljka will record it all! 🙂

Pacemaker was a joke, based on pace and age. At least, I hope it is/was a joke. 😉

I do not have the norm yet, so dancing is not guaranteed.

‘What’s the score he needs for title?’

It depends on the number of points his opponents make. Cannot say for sure.

6-3 is the norm. I need 2 out of my last 4.

Don’t try to draw all your games as then there is a high probability you will stumble. Aim for wins with white and draws with black or some other strategy based on opponents’ strength so that you will have some cushion.

IM Finegold is the strongest IM in the country. Is anyone surprised? Nothing to see here… moving along.

No. Surely an anonymous internet commenter knows more about chess tournament strategy than an IM.

My brother Mark pointed out Robson could have won immediately with: 51.Bd5!

        Chess is tough.

He is the *first* titled player to lose the human race to a computer! 🙂

Remember Deep Thought? The computer announced a 19-move mate against him.
