      GM Vovk wins International Open “Petrovac 2015″

      International Open Chess Tournament Petrovac, Vovk

      Montenegro Chess Federation and “Vile Oliva” organized the International Open Chess Tournament “Petrovac 2015″ from 8-14th May.

      The 9-round Swiss open was held at the hotel “Vile Oliva” in Petrovac, Budva Riviera, Montenegro.

      Top seed Ukrainian player  GM Yuri Vovk emerged a clear winner with 7/9 points, leaving the nearest followers half a point behind.

      The second place was shared in a five-way tie by GM Nikola Djukic (Montenegro), GM Sinisa Drazic (Serbia), GM Martyn Kravtsiv (Ukraine), GM Dejan Antic (Serbia) and IM Filip Pancevski (FYROM), after the whole group finished the event with 6,5 points.
