Awesome events in SC with GM Kaidanov

David Grimaud, Gregory Kaidanov, Precision Tune Auto Care, South Carolina

Precision Tune Auto Care of South Carolina is sponsoring a four city tour by Grandmaster Gregory Kaidanov to promote the 2009 2009 South Carolina Open Chess Tournament in Greenville, SC, on June 26 – 28.

At each city, GM Kaidanov will give an entertaining chess exhibition beginning with a lecture, followed by a classic simultaneous chess match against all volunteers, followed by a simultaneous four-man blitz match (he only gets five minutes), and concluded by a spectacular blindfold blitz game against one opponent, where the GM can’t see the board.

See the South Carolina Chess Association website for cities, dates and times.

David and Precision Tune have done a lot to revive the SC chess scene over the past few years. The time, effort and resources they’ve donated have been much appreciated by the players here! Thank You!!
