      Koziak, Tomczak and Sieciechowicz lead 23rd Poznan Open 2015

      The 23rd Poznan Chess Festival is taking place from August 10-17, 2015, in Poznan, a city in west-central Poland. The venue of play is Gmach Główny Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego w Poznaniu, Poznań, Al. Niepodległości 10.

      The event is a 9-round Swiss tournament with tempo of play 90′ + 30″.

      IM Vitali Koziak, GM Jacek Tomczak and IM Marcin Sieciechowicz are in the lead with 4.5 points out of 5 games.

      In the next round Koziak will face Sieciechowicz, while Tomczak will play against FM Kamil Plichta.

      The winner of the tournament will be awarded 2,500 PLN.
