      Caribbean Women Championship

      The 2015 Women Chess Championship of Central America and the Caribbean was organized by El Salvador Chess Federation (ESA) from November 10-13, at the National Sports Institute of El Salvador (INDES).

      The event was a 7-round Swiss women tournament and 18 players from Cuba, Dominican Republic and El Salvador participated to decide the winner.

      WIM Lisandra Llaudy Pipo collected 6/7 points to take the trophy, leaving the nearest followers half a point behind.

      Her country-mates WGM Maritza Arribas Robaina and WGM Yaniet Marrero Lopez tied for the second place at 5.5 points each.
