      GM Vladimir Petkov wins 20th Magari Siena

      The 20th Weekend Open Chess Tournament “Magari” Siena 2015 took place from December 4th through December 6th, in Siena, a city in Tuscany, Italy.

      The event was a 5-round Swiss tournament open for players rated above 1750 Elo rating.

      Three players scored 4/5 points to share the first place but Bulgarian GM Vladimir Petkov clinched the title on a superior tie-break score. He finished ahead of IM Guido Caprio from Italy, who took the silver medal.

      Another Italian player, IM Duilio Collutiis, remained third, leaving the nearest followers half a point behind.
