        A) 2…Kh7 3. Qe4+ Kxg8 4. Qg4+ Kf8 5. Qg7+ Ke8 6. Qg8#

        B) 2…Kf5 3. Qxd7+ Ke5 4. Re8+ wins.

        Your solution appears to be very convincing, but…

        In your solution, 3…Kg6+ is a check, because the pawn on f6 is now gone, and the Bishop at d8 checks WK at h4. White will lose in this variation.

        (In fact, this was my first solution 🙂 )

        By the way, the 17th World Computer Chess Championship has just begun today at Pamplona, Spain.

        Should be interesting to see if Rybka will be detrone or still win this competition?

        This program seems quite above the others so far in all the computer ratings available.
