      IM Artur Frolov wins 1st Lviv Tradition Tournament 2016

      The 1st Lviv Chess Tradition Tournament 2016 was a 12-player IM-group round robin tournament, which took place from January 25-31, at the Hotel Nton, in the splendid city of Lviv, situated in western Ukraine.

      The event was a second category closed tournament, valid for FIDE rating and norms.

      Ukrainian IM Artur Frolov emerged a solo winner with 8/11 points, leaving the nearest followers half a point behind.

      The second place was shared in a three-way tie by Piotr Sabuk, IM Daniil Shkuran and Piotr Goluch after the whole group finished the event with 7.5 points.

      July 25 – 31;
      August 22-28;
      September 26 – Oct 2;
      October 24 – 30;
      November 28 – December 4
