      Chess Club To Host Chess Master

      SPRING HILL – Poor Rich’s Chess Club will host chess expert and teacher Federico Mahinay.

      Mahinay is a chess instructor for the Stuyvsant Chess Club in Manhattan, New York City, N.Y.

      He will be demonstrating techingy at the clubs next meeding, from 6:30 to 10 p.m Monday March 9, in the Cafeteria, off the main entrance of Oak Hill Hospital, 11375 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville.

      Fred has conducted numerous tournaments for children at his club in NYC, and the club is are pleased to have offer this special program he developed for teaching, demonstrating openings and end games.

      Fred’s love and knowledge of chess is displayed in a very unique and unusual manner.

      Bring your own set and clock, or use the clubs. We also have very nice tournament sets, and clocks for sale at discount prices.

      Poor Rich’s Chess Club meets at 6:30 to 10 p.m. Mondays at the above address. Annual dues are only $10 per family which goes to our College Scholarship Program.
