Unbelievable. Carlsen has a chance to go to #2 in this tourment. He is 5 points away. +2 after 3 rounds — wild.

        1. Anand 2798.1 -4.9
        2. Kramnik 2788.0 0
        3. Morozevich 2787 +13.9
        4. Carlsen 2783.6 +18.6
        5. Ivanchuk 2779.6 +39.6
        6. Topalov 2777.0 +10
        7. Shirov 2744.4 +4.4
        http://chess.liverating.org/

The top 6 are kind of all out there by their selves. 32 point spread between 6th and 7th postions. Chucky pull up into the top 6 with his unbelievable +6 undefeated 2977 performance at MTel 2008.

Carlsen is looking hot and I am perdicting he will hit 2789 liverating and 2nd position before this tourment is over. While he has kind of been handed his two wins — Chuckys meltdown after move 39 after Carlsen successfully refuting his attack and then Van Wely had a draw but threw it away with 38… g4. And no I don’t have a clue I am rated at 1350CFC and just repeating GM Dimitrov’s live commentary at chessdom and am doing this all just for a nofollow link from Susan : )

Well at least click thought and visit my site.

        Carlsen, what the heck?!!

        This kid is unbelievable.
He beats Ivanchuck the guy who dominated Mtel and had just gave the showdown to Anand in Spain. Now he is running loose in Foros.

Can you guys tell me what is Carlsen made of? This viking is just made from some materials or did someone pour magic to his food?

He’s made out of raisins – that’s his favorite chess food! 😉

Don’t count Ivanchuk out yet- he might have a better finish than Carlsen for all you know and might make number 2 himself.
