Carlsen will destroy Chuky. That’s my prediction.

@susan there is only 0.1 points between 2nd and 3rd according to frogbert.

Why not have them fighting for 2nd position.

@anonymous8:28 I think the idea of Carlsen destroying Chucky is as likely to happen as Carlsen destroying Topalov. Foros is a single round so Carlsen winning one game off of Chucky isn’t destroying him in any sense of the word. I don’t even think we could say that Carlsen destroyed Leko with his +2 performance at Miskolc.

In this game GM Dimitrov had Chucky better until around move 36 with Carlsen refuting Chuckys attaching attempts then Chuckys position collapsed.

At this point there are 3 players that are clearly better than Carlsen (Anand, Kramnik, and Topalov) and its going to stay that away for at least another year or two even if Carlsen continues to develope like he have been.

Chucky, Shirov, Aronian, and Morozevich are still Carlsens playing peers and it will be another year or two, if he continues to advance like his has, before he will be “destroying” them.
