What an amazing position. Great work by Vassily. I think 15…dxe4?! is extremely interesting. An incredibly daring move. You really wonder whether it’s even right for white to take the rook. Black appears to be sacrificing material, but white’s queen is in a strange position as a result. I personally might have played the more conservative 17.Qxe4.
By the way, if I were Peter, I’d play 18…Ra8. Then Vassily could play either 19.Qxa8 or 19.Bf4. Both interesting continuations.
