      Fabiano Caruana is 6/6 in Holland with 3057 performance

      Fabiano Caruana, Hogeschool Zeeland


      GM-elect Fabiano Caruana (2549) scored 6/6 so far at the Hogeschool Zeeland Chess Tournament which is taking place from August 4 – 11, 2007. He just defeated GM Stellwagen (2631) to maintain a perfect score! His performance rating so far is 3057!!

        Sorry, but these TPRs are so weird sometimes…

        if you’re one of the highest rated and you just win everything against lower rated players, you have a ‘performance’ of 200-300 points above your rating, LOL

        According to the website, Marie Sebag also beat GM Kasimdzhanov in the tournament!

        Performance rating is mathematically undefined for perfect scores and zero scores. In this case, they are probably using some linearized approximation such as the +- 400 rule.

        Why would you call :Zaragatski, Ilja GER 2480: a “big name”? Just another untitled player with temporary rating higher than usual. It’s ridicule to call him big.
