      Saturday Open Forum

Jerry MacDonald, Open Forum, Saturday, USCF

This was done by Jerry MacDonald

Irina just won the Frank K. Berry US Women’s Championship! Frank K. Berry saved the US and US Women’s Championship after this board lost multiple potential multimillion dollar sponsorship deals due to their incompetence, unethical behavior and lack of professionalism. Big thanks to Frank K. Berry!

The 2007 Montreal International Tournament Empresa has just begun with some big names like Ivanchuk, Kamsky, Short, Tiviakov, Sutovsky, etc.

Alexander Ivanov and Varuzhan Akobian tied for first (5-way) at the Continental Championship. They qualified for the next World Championship Cycle.

FIDE finally published their World Championship regulations.

Today is the last day to send back your USCF Election ballots to have a chance to be counted. Some members of this Executive Board are the most corrupt, vicious, unethical, unprofessional and incompetent board members in recent years.

They allowed and encouraged their front men to destroy, threat, blackmail, insult, lie and attack volunteers, supporters, sponsors and other candidates DAILY! Some even participated in these deplorable events. They flat out lied and mislead the USCF members while this federation lost money again and 9 of the last 11 years.

They have no record to stand on so they have to resort to dirty political tactics to win. This is precisely one of the biggest reasons why I decided to run for the Executive Board. This is an embarrassment to chess and the USCF. This has to be clean up and you have the power to change this.

Don’t forget to vote if you have not done so already.

What would you like to discuss? The forum is yours!

I hope you can end the destruction and dirty politics by Goichberg and Schultz. These guys have close ties with Sloan for years. The USCF won’t get better as long as the same garbage happen.

Why do you guys attack Goichberg? Why should he care about the USCF? His #1 priority is CCA and money. He has to feed his family. Leave him alone. Who cares if he lies and insults others?

The USCF is a joke. Time for a new organization. This one is hopeless and guys like Schultz and Goichberg will never leave it alone.

If you read Frank Brady’s “Profile of a Prodigy” about Fischer’s rise to prominence and the World Championship, wriiten in the 1970’s, the USCF has never been a very effective but rather piecemeal operation.

I have said this before, but probably did not evoke mush response. Why Mr Topalov is getting a favor in the just announced championship cycle. What is he as of now? He is not a world champion at all. He lost his title to Mr Kramnik which he ( Topalov) agreed before. Isn’t FIDE acting like a bunch of JOKERS!!!
Someone somewhere should protest. Probably PCA.

It’s widely known that Goichberg and Schultz have long been connected to the convicted felon Sam Sloan. They both used him at various times to attack their political opponents. This is why this board has lost major sponsors. Major companies and sponsors don’t want to deal with their unprofessionalism and horrendous reputation.
