      Mirzoev, Stupak and Tiviakov share first place in Beirut Open 2014

      Beirut, Lebanon


      The 7th edition of Beirut International Chess Openwas organized by The Amicale Chess Club from 5th to 14th May, 2014, in Beirut, the capital and the largest city of Lebanon.

      The event was a 9 round Swiss Open, with a time control of 90 minutes per player plus 30 seconds per move starting from move 1 and total prize fund in the amount of 6700$.

      GM Azer Mirzoev from Azerbaijan shared first place in a 3-way tie with GM Kiril Stupak from Belarus and GM Sergei Tiviakov from the Netherlands with 7/9 points each.
