Advanced chess tactic Chess tactic, Puzzle Solving White to move. How do you assess this position? How should White proceed? Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
White is cooked. Black wins.
1. Ng6, with the threat of 2. Ne7 & Qe7++. I don’t see a defence.
Come on…. this is not advanced!
Just Qxg6+!
1 Ng6! A)1…hg6 2Rh8 mate
B)1…fg6 2Qg6 hg6 3Rh8 mate
C)1…Bg5 2Ne7 Qe7 3Qh7 mate
D)1…bc3 2Ne7 with Qh7 mate
Black thus has no defense after 1 Ng6! There may be other winning moves but ng6 seems to be the most forcing.
