      Al Riyadh Open Chess Tournament

      Qatar

      Saudi Chess Association in cooperation with Qatar Chess Federation and NGiT is holding the Saudi Riyadh International Chess Championship on 26-28th June at the cultural cafe in Riyadh.

      The 11-round Swiss tournament will be played with the rapid time control on 10′+5”.

      International panel of arbiters is helping the local chess federation, which recently joined FIDE, to manage the tournament.

      The prize fund is 14,000 SAR (around 2800 EUR).

      After the first day four players are sharing the lead with perfect score.
