Amazing lectures by Dr. Dean and Jon Crumiller

Chess Collectors International, Dr. George Dean, Jon Crumiller

I had the opportunity to attend 2 amazing lectures this weekend about Dr. Dean’s magnificent chess collection (by Dr. George Dean himself) and the history of some of the creators of amazing chess sets from centuries ago (by Jon Crumiller). I also had the opportunity to learn a lot of deep chess history of chess sets by Frank Camaratta as well.

They all have incredible knowledge of chess history and these topics are fascinating for me. I hope to post all the pictures from this weekend and the links to the incredible research by Jon Crumiller soon.

I’m looking forward to the research by Jon. This topic unfortunately isn’t promoted enough.
