Levon Aronyan is in the trio of the strongest chess-players

The list of strongest chess-players is published, armsport.am reports. Armenian strongest grand master Levon Aronyan is on the third position with 2805 points.
The leader of the list is Magnus Karlsen from Norway with 2814 points and the second is the world champion Vishvanatan Anand with 2810 points.
Vladimir Kramnik (2784), Sergey Karyakin (2776), Veselin Topalov (2775), Aleksander Grishuk (2773), Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (2772), Vasiliy Ivanchuk (2764) and Khikaru Nakamura (2751) are in the first ten positions of the list.
Another Armenian chess-player, Sergey Movsisyan is the 26th. Vladimir Hakobyan is the 63th and Gabriel Sargsyan is the 75th.

the name of the armenian GM is
Vladimir Akopian,
not Vladimir Hakobyan.
I believe that the other one is Sargisyan, not Sargsyan.

His name is Վլատիմիր Յակոբեան that can be transliterated in a number of ways. “Akopian” avoids the initial “h” sound because of a limitation in the russian language.
As a matter of fact, there are several other chessplayer names that are transliterated wrongly through russian, such as Gashimov (Hashimov) and Vaganian (Vahanian).
Aronian is very much the Bent Larsen of this generation.

So Aronian is a very aggressive player who plays offbeat openings?
I think not.
