It was so great to have my sister Sofia here celebrating this special day with me at my chess center. A big special thanks to Jeff Smith for making this event possible. I am happy to say that in spite of the ridiculously crazy weather, over 200 people showed up for the celebration. It has been a wonderful 10 years and I hope we will have many more! Thank you Tom, Leon and all other volunteers and supporters who helped this club stay open all this time. Thank you everyone for your support!

Here’s an idea for the future. How about setting up a web cam for special events like this at the Polgar Center? Then someone can man a computer and periodically report to the group on the e-mails that come in from around the country like they do on that show on CNN.
