Peter Leko played for a log time a piece down. Is this disrespectful to the opponent or not?

Grandmasters never play when a piece lost. You must have something gone wrong.

I heard Magnis was in time trouble, and Leko didn’t resign because he hoped to cheat him on time, although position was to resign. Man, what a gm would not do to win a single game of chess.

        Carlsen-Leko, 1-0.

That is what hanging out with Kasparov does to you.

‘Is this disrespectful to the opponent or not’

Of course it is. But what does Leko care? FIDE is behind him, with their corrupted people.

Look at Magnus’ king….. Of course he’s winning, but has lot of sense to keep playing at least until time control, as complex position, exposed king and some options of mistakes.

Just I can understand he kept playing until move 40. There onwards, no idea
