Wesley So go up to #7 because of new manager Lotis Key and new coach Norlito Sugardom.

There’s an interesting “generational” divide in the top 8. Four youngsters vs three “oldies” plus Grischuk who’s somewhere in between. A 4-vs-4 super team event should be exciting.

I hope the comments on this site would be more of the third one than the first 2. There’s too much garbage posts here, with bad grammar and pointless messages.

Caruana did the best. He moved up from 7th to 2nd in ratings. He is not playing well lately and that is what exactly will happen to Wesley. So it is true that what goes up must come down. Carlsen is the exception. He has been #1 at age 17 then at 19 to present. Mark of a truly champion.

So LOTS of patience is the KEY really works for Wesley eh!

So went up to 7th and will go down past soon as Naka whip his butt. That’s ceiling for Wesley and can’t go up farther. He is not smart like Nakamura. Naka just dusted him a while ago and will embarrass him next time around.

Still we believed that Wesley is just a so so player. Nakamura just toyed with him in Blitz and Classic lately.

There was a time when Kramnik, Topalov, and Anand were all chasing after Kasparov in the ratings list. Now we have So, Giri, and Caruana chasing after Carlsen.
