Chess Academy Reading and Math Tutoring is an innovative and successful tutoring program that specializes in teaching reading and math. Research shows that chess as a learning tool raises overall grades and test scores. Chess Academy offers a complete and interactive reading and mathematics curriculum for students in grades 1-8. Our goal is to improve students’ problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills in the areas of logic, pattern recognition, perception, coordination, spatial relations, decision-making, and visualization.
