      Chess Train 2012

The Chess Train will go again over the central Europe. After the great success of Chess Train 2011 there will be a continuation of this unique project of the Prague Chess Society and Czech Railways.

Special train for chess players and their friends and relatives will go on the way Prague – Dresden – Wroclaw – Piestany – Vienna – Prague on October 12-16.

Chess players will have the opportunity to travel through five beautiful central European cities in the comfortable train.

On the way, they will play the 13-rounds rapid chess tournament and in the afternoons and evenings they can feel the atmosphere of the magic town of Tycho de Brahe and Wilhelm Steinitz (Prague), of Florence on Elbe river (Dresden), of Adolf Anderssen chess town (Wroclaw), of small spa town remembering Rubinstein, Bogoljubow and Alekhine (Piestany) and of the metropolis of Austro-Hungarian monarchy (Vienna).

You can check pictures and videos from the Chess Train 2011.

More information together with registration form for participants will be published in the end of April on the web of Prague Chess Society (www.praguechess.cz).
