      Claudia Amura wins Argentinean Women’s Championship

      Championship of Argentina, Claudia Amura, Women's Chess


      The 67th edition of Argentinian Individual Chess Champion for women took place from 1st to 9th May, 2014 at Villa Martelli, in San Isidro – a Municipality of Argentinian capital Buenos Aires.

      The tournament was a 9 round Swiss with a time control 90 minutes per player plus 30 seconds per move, starting from move 1.

      WGM Claudia Amura grabbed the title and 15 000$, collecting 7/9 points, leaving the runner up WIM Florencia Maria Fernandez half a point behind.

      Third place was shared by WIM Zuriel Marisa and Maisa Nejansky with 6/9.
