The Memorandum on Cooperation was signed by FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and Alikhan Kharsiev, Russian State Duma Deputy and founder of Adi-Ahmad Sports Club (Troitskoe village, Republic of Ingushetia) on Monday, January 16 in the RCF Chess Museum.
The main idea of the agreement is promoting chess in Ingushetia, introducing chess into the republican schools, and support of the strongest local players, including the 2016 European champion and Ingushetia chess federation President Ernesto Inarkiev.
Ernesto Inarkiev is therefore invited to participate in the FIDE Grand Prix series.
