      GM Sergey Volkov wins Beirut International Open 2015

      Russian Grandmaster Sergey Volkov emerged clear winner of the 8th Beirut International Open 2015 after concluding the race with 8,0/9 points, half a point ahead of GM Kirill Stupak from Belarus.

      The Beirut International Open was held from 19-27th September with 88 players from 14 countries. Among them were nine Grandmasters.

      The total prize fund was 7000 USD with 2000 USD reserved for the winner.
