Ahh the Frontenac… One of my favorite hotels…
Château Laurier . . . Château Frontenac is in Quebec city.
Say what you will about the Canadians but they sure know where to put on a chess tournament. Here in the Philippines our beloved federation would rather pocket the sponsorship money and put tournaments in overcrowded shopping malls. “To get maximum public exposure”.
Good point anon, Though I am absolutely sure it will be fabulous.
Shopping mall is about on level to the CC cafeteria we hold state championships in Washington State
