My favorite commercial was the Blockbuster Mouse commercial.

This was the first superbowl I ever watched, and I have to say, I had absolutely no clue what was happening. I wish I’d know you were blogging it, maybe some chess analogies would have helped?!

It wasn’t so bad, perhaps not as boring as the book I was reading at the same time. I wanted the Chicago Bulls (Bears?) to win though.

I wanted the Bears to win also.

But it was rainy and messy game. They should not have lost the ball so often.

The Colts did play better and deserved to win, I guess.

Now back to the Patriots winning next year. LOL.

My favorite commercial was the one with the crabs worshiping the cooler. 🙂

The Blockbuster commercial is actually old – they played it last year, too.

And boo on the Pats. I’m tired of them winning all the time. I’m exceedingly glad that my Colts beat them for the AFC championship this year. It’s nice to be in a Super Bowl city, for once.

IMO Rhodes and Addai should have got the joint MVPs award. Manning was just the emotional choice. he was definitely the MVP for the whole season for the Colts (but not for the SuperBowl).

        For Tom Chivers:
        Some chess analogirs:
Attack is the best defense. The defenders have to be aggressive to be able to defend. E.g.: The opening touchdown by the bears was a case of the colts defenders being over defensive. Also during the game, one missed the usual agressive defence Chicago had shown in earlier games, hence they lost. Manning plays a chess game of tactics – concepts of creating openings in oposite flanks; the rusher (e.g Addai) only attacks, when he has his full force behind him (dont go alone!) etc etc, there are so many may analogies.
        Rgds M.
