      Ivan Rozum clear first in Primorskiy Debut 2016

      The 2016 Primorskiy Debut open tournament, a stage of the Russian Cup, was held from 21-29th July in Vladivostok, Russia.

      50 players took participating in the 9-round Swiss event, including seven Grandmasters in the field.

      Grandmaster Ivan Rozum from Vologda emerged clear winner after scoring a victory in the final round. Rozum collected 7,0/9 points to leave the nearest followers half a point behind.

      Prior to this event, Rozum shared first place in the 2016 Tikhookeanskiy Meridian rapid tournament, a stage in the Rapid Cup of Russia, also held in Vladivostok.
