I wonder if Carlsen was distracted by one or two things? 😉

I really like Irina. She is so sweet. I hope she stays eternally young and single just like she is today. ( Big Smilie )

However, there are rumors that she is friendly with a handsome young player from Canada. Pascal Charbonneau. He is a very nice guy. Some guys have all the luck. ( Big Smilie )

She has 3 1/2 points enough for an IM norm. it takes 5 1/2 points for a GM norm. She will not make a GM norm this tournament.

Nice draw however with Carlsen. That is a definite feather in her cap. I would be so proud of a draw against Magnus.

It’s too bad she missed a GM norm, but a draw against Carlsen, who’s coming off his hot hand at Linares, is a pretty good achievement. I think both she and Anna Zatonskih have what it takes to be GMs, if they could just find some consistency.

maybe carlsen didnt win, because he had a crush on Krush…
but he should have crashed Krush!!!

Well,Magnus has just won the tournament beating another experienced player.
7/9 an impressive score ,and more ELO points for the young Viking.
        Too shame for Irina.
She’ve missed GM norm this time but will make it next time opportunity,I’m sure.
And who said she isn’t hot and sexy is blind!

Well if anyone’s waiting for Carlsen to get to 2700+ doesn’t have to wait much longer, however anyone waiting for Krush to make the jump from IM to GM will have a while yet to wait.

My theory is that all the people saying ‘she’s on her way to her second norm’ have jinxed her somehow. 😉
