      Turkey, World Team Championship

Greece defeated Russia a few rounds earlier! Now they just took down Armenia by the score of 3-1! Turkey scored the first point by tying Egypt. The US team continues to roll, this time past Brasil 3-1. Russia barely got by India 2.5-1.5. Azerbaijan and Israel tied 2-2.

I guess you can say expect the unexpected in this event.

It is interesting to note that 3 teams are parts of USSR and another two consist of players from USSR:)))))))

The USSR is a thing of the distant past and has completely no relevance here. There is nothing interesting in your note.

        Wrong, my dear communistfighter!
The soviet school of chess is the root of almost every top chess playing until today. Even Magnus gets the top of his skills by an ex-soviet chess master.

Who is Kamsky without his school days?

India will surely finish ahead of atleast one of those ‘USSR’ teams, if not 2 or 3
