      Chess tournament, Croatia


      The Opatija International Open 2013 is taking place on June 29th – July 7th at the Grand Hotel Adriatica, Marsala Tita 200, Opatija – Croatia.

      The tournament is valid for FIDE rating and Title Results. It is a 9 round Swiss-open, with a time control of 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increments per move.

      Prizes (in €): 1000, 600, 300, 150, 100, 50

      Special prizes (in €):
      < 2200: 600, 300, 150, 50, 5.-8. material prizes
      < 2000: 500, 200, 100, 50, 5.-8. material prizes
      < 1800: 400, 200, 100, 50, 5.-8. material prizes
      < 1600: 1.- 5. material prizes

      After 4 rounds, the favorites maintain a perfect score at the top of the standings – Russian GM Andrey Shariyazdanov and Croatian GM Marin Bosiocic.
