      Open Internacional de Sants 2014

      The 16th Open Internacional de Sants, Hostafrancs & Bordeta is set to take place on 22-30th August at the Auditoridel Centre Cívic de les Cotxeres de Sants, 79 Sants St in Barcelona, Spain.

      The 10-round Swiss event consists of two sections:
      – Group A: open to all players, regardless of their rating, with a FIDE ID
      – Group B: for all players U2100 Catalan elo and U2000 FIDE elo

      The total prize fund is 13,800 EUR with 2500 EUR reserved for the winner of Group A. The event usually attracts more than 600 participants.

      Last year winner was GM B Adhiban of India.
